Patent Services Offered By our Firm

In all matters related to patents the firm draws on over 40 years experience in intellectual property matters by the owner and principal of the practice, Keith Leaman,  and the professional consultants retained by the firm. This experience has been gained by the professional staff in senior management positions in top “Blue Chip” companies and top private practices in London and throughout the UK.

British  Patents 

The principal and owner of the firm qualified as a British Patent Agent and became a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents in 1974. As a Registered Patent Attorney, the principal has the right to represent clients in The Patents County Court and the UK High Court and also instructs  specialist IP solicitors or Barristers in all High Court actions. All the firm's consultants have similar experience gained over at least 30 years in some cases.

European Patents (EPC) 

The principal of the firm and the firm's consultants are authorised to represent clients before the European Patent Office and the European Court Of Justice.

International Patents (PCT)

The principal of the firm and the firm's consultants are authorised to represent clients under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) that is  administered by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization based in Geneva). 

Eurasian Patents

The practice has experience in obtaining Eurasian patents on behalf of UK and European clients under the Eurasian Patent Convention.
