Central England Patent & Trademark Attorneys offers a very highly professional practice based on over 40 years of solid experience of the Proprietor in advising on all aspects of Patents, Trade Marks, Registered Designs, Design Rights, Copyright and licensing in the UK, Europe and in over 200 Countries throughout the world. The firm also draws upon the services of retained seasoned consultants to provide so that we can offer advice on IPR matters related to a wide range of technical disciplines. The firm's International network of Associates and Attorneys throughout the world are forged out of personal contacts made over the past 40 years.

The principal of the practice, Keith Leaman, CPA, EPA, HNC (Mech. Eng), is a qualified engineer, having served an Engineering Apprenticeship with Westland Aircraft Ltd and their Subsidiary companies British Hovercraft Corporation and Normalair Garret Ltd before entering the patent profession. He has also held very senior management positions in patents, trade marks and licensing within top blue chip companies such as, for example, Rolls Royce PLC, Courtaulds PLC, Courtaulds Textiles PLC., and Scipher PLC., In addition, he has held very senior Patent Attorney positions in top private Chartered Patent Attorney practices in London, Leicester, Birmingham, and Rugby and has managed a patent licensing Company that earnt tens of millions pounds sterling for clients, and has handled successful litigation actions to enforce IPR in many countries for clients.

The firm is well placed to assist individuals and start-up companies to raise the necessary funding to enable them to realize the full potential of their innovation by exploiting their intellectual property rights by working through a network of commercial and professional contacts, fundraising sources and investment brokers.

We aim to do so at a realistic price and aim to assist our clients to exploit their intellectual property by licensing or enforcing their intellectual property rights against those who infringe these rights.

All firms of Patent Attorneys can obtain IPR (Patents, Trademarks and Design) for their clients; very few actually help their clients realize the full potential of their intellectual property by licensing or exploiting their IPR. We are the exception to this rule.
